What do you think voters of other political parties should understand about your beliefs?

Millions of Americans will vote in the general election on November 5, the culmination of an election marked by numerous conflicts – from an assassination attempt to the withdrawal of a major party candidate from the race.

If you find yourself at the center of political conversations and feeling stressed, you’re not alone. According to an annual mental health survey from the American Psychiatric Association, Americans’ anxiety levels have increased by 43 percent.

Of the stressors that is causing this anxiety the most, the US election is one. 73 percent of US adults said they felt anxious about the election.

With all the noise, it’s sometimes hard to feel like you’re being heard. The Dallas Morning News is here to listen. We want to amplify the voices of our community before the election. We want to help voters learn more about the differences and similarities between them. We may not all agree on the issues, but most of us want to make Dallas better.
