Gary I. Frawley Jr. “June Bug”, age 55, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Bulloch County and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1987. After graduation, he became a construction worker. He loved hunting, fishing, his dogs, judging dog shows and fox hunting. He had a heart of gold and was loved by so many. Gary was a member of Brooklet United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary I. Frawley Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Dianne Frawley of Brooklet, a brother, Stephen Frawley (Susie) of Statesboro, his ex-wife, Tonya Phillips of Statesboro, a nephew, Tyler Frawley (Madison), a niece, Tiffany Frawley, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be private at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Bill Tyson, Rusty Thompson, Lee Glisson, Brian Swint, Bobby Campbell and Gerald Ward.
