Couple apologizes for cigarette break, but flees

About ten minutes after the couple left the restaurant, the staff noticed that the couple was indeed gone. This was a major blow to business.

Mauricio Spinola, co-owner of the Lazy Fox, was quoted as saying: The mirror“About ten minutes after they went outside, we realized they were gone. I couldn’t just go and look for him, I still had a bar to run.”

Couple posts on social media

Co-owner Enoely Fernandez said it was “so silly” to post the numbers on Facebook.

The staff had no idea that the couple would do such a thing as they were neither drunk nor shouting or making any noise.

The restaurant just wants their money and forbids the couple from visiting again.

Spinola said they don’t know how to prevent such situations in the future. They can’t ask customers to hand over their phone and wallet while taking a cigarette break. “The vast majority of our customers are great and would find that odd,” Spinola added.
