Clark Construction wins 4 million GSA contract to build CISA headquarters

The General Services Administration has Clark Construction Company a potential $524 million contract to build the new headquarters of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on the St. Elizabeths West Campus in Washington, DC

GSA said Monday that the construction contract includes an Inflation Reduction Act investment valued at $115.9 million.

The contractor will construct a 57,000-square-foot federal facility for CISA as part of the project. The project is part of an ongoing initiative to consolidate the Department of Homeland Security at a single location.

“CISA needs a long-term solution for our headquarters to best meet the needs of our agency. We are pleased that GSA has awarded a construction contract to move the process forward,” said Jen EasterlyDirector of CISA and 2024 Washing100 Award winners.

According to GSA, the contract includes about $80 million to purchase glass, steel, asphalt and other low-carbon building materials, as well as $35 million to meet green building standards.

A tender for the contract was first issued in April 2023.
