N26 Smart and N26 Business Smart offer new money management features such as round-ups or personal phone support. The new service also includes access to Spaces sub-accounts, Shared Spaces features and more.
The so-called Spaces are more than just a normal sub-account. Up to ten other N26 customers can access them after activation by the account holder and all users can also transfer money to other accounts.

With the introduction of N26 Smart, the services of the existing premium accounts are also changing. N26 You is becoming N26 International for “flexible banking across national borders”.
The most expensive offer – N26 Metal – with various additional and insurance services will become N26 Unlimited. In addition to the paid offers, you will also continue to be able to use the free N26 Standard account, explained Valentin Stalf, CEO of N26.
At 4.90 euros per month, N26 Smart costs about half as much as the You account.
“N26 is the pioneer of a freemium subscription model in banking. In addition to our free digital bank accounts, we are continuously expanding our value-added premium subscriptions to offer best-in-class banking features, additional discounts, perks and benefits at an affordable price. This is a confident move at a time when all banking is going digital,” added Alex Weber, Chief Growth Officer at N26.
