After Chloe Goodman’s sister Lauryn was subjected to heavy trolling on the Internet, an account allegedly belonging to the sister’s grandmother seemed to play a role in the drama surrounding the influencer as well as footballer Kyle Walker and his wife Annie Kilner.
Lauryn, who has two children with Walker, caused a stir on social media when she posted a photo in a mini dress with the caption: “Behind every strong individual lies a story that leaves them with two choices: sink or damn swim.”
Lauryn, 33, has endured hurtful comments following her legal battle with the footballer, including being called an “adulteress.” Then someone claiming to be Lauryn and Chloe’s grandmother, Carole Elizabeth Shrader, posted a comment under the Instagram post suggesting Kilner’s own infidelity: “She (Annie) has had her own affairs, not the innocent wife everyone thinks she is,” along with a shocked emoji.
However, former Celebrity Big Brother star Chloe has denied these claims, as reported by the Mirror, saying the account purporting to be her and Lauryn’s grandma is fake. Taking to Instagram, she clarified: “My grandma is in her 80s and doesn’t have Instagram. Please remove this story, it’s a fake account and can cause a lot of distress to an elderly person.”
A source close to 33-year-old Annie dismissed the development as “utter nonsense,” telling the Daily Mail: “She hasn’t seen it (Lauryn’s post) or the message from her grandma because it’s utter nonsense and Annie has better things to do. Sadly, it’s just more of the same nonsense that Lauryn has regularly spread on social media and now some of her family members are joining in.”
The source also said, “Annie and Kyle are angry that Lauryn keeps bringing this issue to the public. They are fed up with her behavior.”
Lauryn has since openly criticized the player’s wife on Instagram, responding to a comment that read, “Annie is the only innocent party in this whole thing,” with the scathing retort, “Is she? From everything I know, I really don’t think she is.”
On Monday, the mother-of-two shared alleged Snapchat exchanges with Kyle amid claims he emotionally neglected their children. The former Celebs Go Dating star – who has son Cairo, four, and daughter Kinara, one, with the Manchester City star, 34 – shared an Instagram story with a message above one of the screenshots, which read: “If you keep coming at me I will keep coming out with the FACTS. Trust me I have a lot of BOOKS.”
In alleged conversations between Kyle and Lauryn, for which no date or time was given, Walker reportedly referred to Lauryn as a “good mother” and seemed interested in his son’s life and well-being.
A source previously told the Mirror that Kyle was forced to make the difficult decision to emotionally distance himself from Cairo and Kinara’s lives due to Lauryn’s behavior. She claimed: “Unfortunately, due to Lauryn’s behavior, he had to make the decision not to emotionally distance himself from the children’s lives.”
The same insider continued: “Lauryn is known for trying to control a narrative that fits her story – she has constantly sought public attention with staged shoots, trips to the European Championships and constant provocation on social media around her brief encounters with Kyle. All they want is to work on their relationship privately to see what the future holds for them and their young family, but they have not been able to do it in the glare of the media – often led by Lauryn.”
