It’s time to name the South Bend Tribune’s best high school football offensive lineman of the 2024 preseason.

Below are twelve athletes from Indiana high schools listed alphabetically by school. You can vote as many times as you like throughout the duration of the poll.. Voting closes Thursday, August 22, midnight ET. Winners will be announced Friday morning before the start of the IHSAA football season. The poll can be found at Scroll to the bottom of the page.

Here are the nominees:

Bremen senior Silas Laidig

Laidig has been one of the most productive quarterbacks to return to the state, throwing for 2,378 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Lions last season.

Bremen’s professional Tyrus Graverson

Graverson ranked third in the state with 1,323 receiving yards last year and also caught 10 touchdown passes from Laidig.

Concord senior Jaron Thomas

The Purdue running back ran for 1,441 yards and 19 touchdowns in 11 games for the Minutemen last season.

Elkhart Senior Novell Miller

Miller, a transfer from Mishawaka, was the Cavemen’s leading running back in 2023, finishing with 1,326 yards and 20 touchdowns.

LaVille senior Cody Allen

Allen had a breakout season with the Lancers in his junior season, scoring 1,515 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns for the section-winning team.

Mishawaka senior Ethan Bryce

Bryce ran for 460 yards and two rushing touchdowns last fall, along with 324 receiving yards and three receiving scores for the Cavemen.

Mishawaka Marian senior Brian Osman

Osman finished 2023 with 919 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in ten games for the Knights.

New Prairie junior Reed Robinson

Robinson will play quarterback this fall after being the Cougars’ best running back last year, rushing for 947 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Northridge senior Derek Sherwood

Sherwood shined as a secondary running back for the Raiders last year, totaling 645 yards and seven touchdowns while sharing runs with McClain Miller, who has committed to North Dakota State.

NorthWood senior Landon Perry

Perry took over as the leading running back midway through the season and finished the season with 927 rushing yards and nine touchdowns for the Panthers, the Class 4A runner-up.

Penn senior Kellen Watson

Watson will start at quarterback for the Kingsmen this fall after playing wide receiver last year, where he had a team-best 569 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns.

Gabe Weber, senior from South Bend, Washington

In his first season as a high school football player last year, Weber threw for 883 yards and nine touchdowns, including three in a Panthers sectional victory over Plymouth.
