Phase 1 – Report

Rounds: 30 (1-30 / 125)

Green, they race side by side for the lead. Taylor Gray manages to have three in turn three to take the lead. Sheldon Creed wins the battle on the outside lane with a push from Autumn.

Lap 15, Taylor Gray loses control on the inside lane. He spins, be careful.

Green, Creed leads Herbst out of turn two. Sammy Smith slows with a flat tire, no caution.

Lap 24, race leader Creed is pushing Herbst close to his bumper! Creed spins in turn four! The caution is issued.

Green, Herbst and Allgaier drive side by side into the first corner. Allgaier overtakes him on the inside lane.

1 to ride in stage one, Ryan Sieg dives between Allgaier in the battle for the lead. Allgaier tries the crossover, but Chandler Smith pushes Sieg out.

Phase 2 – Report

Rounds: 30 (31-60 / 125)

It is raining in the area. After a brief red flag, the cars start rolling again.

Sieg stays outside while many behind him drift into the pit lane.

Green flag on the second leg, Sieg and Allgaier drive side by side into the first corner. Austin Hill tries to make a three-man gap and take the lead, but Carson Kvapil is already there. Kvapil hooks Hill on the left rear and Hill slides through the grass on the infield. The warning is issued.

Green, Allgaier and Allmendinger drive side by side into the first corner. Allgaier wins the battle on the outside lane into the third corner.

Lap 49, Riley Herbst is able to overtake Ryan Sieg in turn three. But he has no lead and Herbst gets stuck in the outside wall. Brandon Jones, Sam Mayer and others are picked up. The caution is issued.

Allgaier comes into the pits from the lead, while many remain outside. John Hunter Nemechek and Allmendinger occupy the front row.

Green, Nemechek gives him the lead in turn four.

Phase 3 – Report

Rounds: 65 (61-125 / 125)

Green flag on the third stage, Nemechek has a clear path for the first corner after a push from Allgaier.

Lap 66, Lawless Alan breaks free and takes Daniel Dye and Jeb Burton with him. The caution is issued again.

Green, Nemechek overtakes Sammy Smith in turn four and maintains the lead.

Penalty: Shane van Gisbergen will serve a through pass for a restart violation.

40 seconds left, Carson Kvapil overtakes Nemechek in turn two. Kvapil overtakes Nemechek and takes the lead in turn three.

25 laps left, Kvapil is 2 seconds ahead of Nemechek. Kvapil is running low on fuel.

Still 17, Allgaier overtakes Nemechek and is in second place.

16 laps left, Kvapil drives into the pit lane to refuel. Allgaier takes the lead.

10 left, Allgaier leads ahead of Creed and Nemechek.

9 laps left, Kyle Weatherman has a tire blowout and hits the wall, the caution is issued.

4 more, it’s raining while the cars roll carefully.

After a short rain delay, the cars start rolling again.

Green in NASCAR overtime, Allgaier and Sammy Smith drive side by side into the first corner. Allgaier leaves him behind in the second corner.

1 to go, Allgaier leads by four car lengths. Creed is second. Kvapil is hooked in turn two and Kyle Sieg is upside down. The caution is out.

Justin Allgaier keeps them at bay and wins at Michigan International Speedway!
