Angel Niclisin causes car crash on Hickory Hollow Parkway after fleeing traffic stop at high speed – Scoop: Nashville

Angel Niclisin, 18, was observed attempting to evade arrest after a traffic stop outside a McDonald’s on Hickory Hollow Lane on August 13. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a robbery. As the car entered the McDonald’s parking lot on Hickory Hollow Lane, it sped away from officers at a high rate of speed. Officers pursued the vehicle until it crashed near Harbor Freight Tools on Hickory Hollow Parkway.

Officers removed Niclisin and two other people from the car and took Niclisin into custody. Officers then searched the vehicle and found two empty alcohol bottles. Officers then noticed that one of the passengers was a minor and was driving past curfew before asking Niclisin if he had a driver’s license. He told officers that he did not. Niclisin was then transported away and later charged with driving without a license, evading arrest, consuming alcohol while underage and encouraging minors to commit crimes on August 14.

Angel Niclisin, of Surrey Road in Nashville, Tennessee, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 14. He is charged with assisting a minor in the delinquency, underage drinking, evading arrest and driving without a license. A judicial commissioner set his bail at $7,500 and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office released him from the jail prior to trial.
