‘BORN AGAIN’ star Charlie Cox reveals scene connecting series to Netflix show – GeekTyrant

When Daredevil: Reborn When production originally began, the series was intended to be a standalone series and there were no plans to connect it to the original Netflix series Daredevil.

During the pandemic, Marvel Studios realized that this version of the series wasn’t working. They fired the writers and director and hired a new team to take the series in a new direction.

The version they came up with follows the original Netflix series and brings back many of the characters, such as Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson).

Now we know exactly how Daredevil: Reborn will follow on from the original series thanks to Charlie Cox.

During an interview with EW, Cox explained, “Deborah (Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page) and I had a scene where we find an old box – can I say that? I think I can say that.”

“We had a scene where we were going through a box and finding stuff from the past, and it was real stuff from the past. It was stuff from the old (show).

“It was like a picture frame that we used on a set eight years ago, and we looked at it together – well, I didn’t look at it. But we reminisced, and it was sweet. It was kind of like life imitating art.”

When Marvel boss previously spoke about the series, Kevin Feige said: “In Daredevil: Rebornwe captured the essence of the original series, but took a completely new path for Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.”

The new Disney+ series also brings back Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) and is described as a revival rather than a reboot of the Netflix version of Daredevil.

The new series is said to be inspired by the Reign of the Devil Plot that explores the power dynamics between Kingpin and the vigilantes who oppose him. The story revolves around the power struggle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, who becomes mayor of New York City.

Daredevil: Reborn is developed by directors Justin Benson And Aaron Moorheadwho worked on both Moon Knight And Loki.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to be released on Disney Plus in March 2025.
