NEILLSVILLE, WI (OnFocus) – Nate Heeg’s Thrivent office is proud to have played a role in supporting veterans at an event in August. On August 4, the office helped provide lunch at the Vietnam Veterans Reunion, providing attendees with a welcoming and nutritious meal. In addition, the team provided “snack packs” for the cyclists participating in the 40th Annual Heroes Ride Bike Tour.

One of Wisconsin’s largest and most respected bike rides, the Heroes Ride Bike Tour sees over 100 cyclists from five different routes across the state converge at Highground Veterans Memorial Park. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the bike ride, making it the longest-running and most successful annual fundraiser for The Highground.

The ride is more than just a physical challenge; it is a mission to support veterans and their families. Participants, including both drivers and support staff (SAG), join forces to contribute to The Highground’s ongoing efforts to provide critical support and resources to those who have served our country. The Highground’s offerings include PTS/PTSD programs, veteran retreats, and the tranquil environment of the park itself, which provides a place of rest and reflection.

“We are honored to be part of this momentous event,” said Nate Heeg, Financial Advisor. “Supporting our veterans is important to us and we are committed to contributing to their well-being through our community involvement.”
