“Tell Brittany I love her!”

“Tell Brittany I love her!”

Jackson Mahomes, who has over a million followers on TikTok, seemed shocked that so many people were watching him during a rare live appearance late Wednesday night.

But it only took a few minutes for hundreds to find his live stream and, like one fan, tell him, “I miss you at the Chiefs games.”

The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has long been a common sight on the sidelines and at games.

Last season, he was photographed with the team’s newest and most famous fan, Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Last season, however, he was relatively low-key on social media when it came to responding to a high-profile incident of alleged sexual assault against a restaurant owner in Overland Park in February 2023.

While his famous brother tries to win his third consecutive Super Bowl, Mahomes is currently serving a six-month sentence of unsupervised probation after pleading guilty to a no contest assault charge in March.

“Jackson is grateful for the support of his family and friends over the past year. Jackson pleaded guilty to a single count of assault and received six months of unsupervised probation,” his attorney, Brandan Davies, said in a statement to several news outlets in March.

“Jackson simply wanted the case to be over so he could move on with his life. The matter is now closed and we will make no further statements.”

At some point last year, Mahomes changed his TikTok profile to read: “What can I say, I get bullied a lot but I’m still here.”

Some of this intimidation came from Swift’s fans, who loudly declared on social media that they did not like to see her with him given his legal problems.

But on Wednesday, his followers were excited to talk to him, even if just through a quick TikTok chat.

Wearing a green New York Yankees cap, he lounged on his bed with his dog, a curly-haired miniature Goldendoodle named Calvin.

He seemed surprised that so many people were still on TikTok just before midnight and was clearly unaware of the activity on the platform after dark.

A fan asked the Texan native if he liked living in Kansas City, and he said yes. He called KC “chilling,” but said he might want to move “back to Dallas.”

He disappeared briefly, then returned to engage in a TikTok battle with a young woman in Miami. “I’m new to this whole live event thing,” Mahomes told her as they vied for follower rewards.

The chat became lively as fans watched him find his feet, told him they can’t wait to see him back on TikTok, and sent well wishes to his sister-in-law Brittany Mahomes, who is pregnant with her third child.

“King Jackson.”

“Jackson Mahomes is king.”

“What is Brittany Mahomes like in person? I like her personality… I love her!!”

“Tell Brittany I love her!!”

“What will be the biggest game of the year?”

“Baby, on the way to the Super Bowl! Let’s go!”
