At 55 years old, Dustin Rhodes has had a longer wrestling career than most, and although he is in the final years of his career, he is still an active competitor and involved in notable storylines.

Just last month, Rhodes teamed with Marshall and Ross von Erich to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships, defeating The Undisputed Kingdom to capture the belts. The title win was part of a five-match streak over the past few weeks and marked one of his most active in-ring appearances in years.

Having surpassed the career length of many others, it’s no surprise that Dustin is being asked if he’s going to retire. However, it doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere anytime soon.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was recently asked by Sports Illustrated about his brother Dustin’s work in AEW and ROH. Cody responded positively to his continued involvement in the ring and said he believes there is still room for improvement.

“I’m not surprised because I see he’s not done yet,” he told Sports Illustrated. “He hasn’t really told me what he wants to do next, but I see he’s not done yet.”

Cody also reflected on Dustin’s association with the Von Erichs, a wrestling family he admires.

“Dustin’s performance with the Von Erichs was so cool,” he said. “I love the Von Erichs so much. I don’t think Kevin knows this, but I studied Kevin, I watched Kevin, I was so fascinated by Kevin Von Erich. Seeing his kids and Dustin was very touching.”
