ESPN star Shae Cornette insisted that the New York Jets could not win their division this season if Haason Reddick was not on the team.
With Stephen A. Smith no longer involved with First Take, Cornette was happy to take on the task of providing hot takes.

And she is pretty adamant about her opinion of the Jets ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Reddick has so far stayed away from training camp and now reportedly wants to be traded by the Jets.
The team responded optimistically to these reports.
“We have informed Haason that we will not release him, that he is expected to remain here with his teammates and that he will continue to be penalized under the CBA if he does not report,” Jets general manager Joe Douglas said.
“Since the trade talks in March, we have made our position clear, direct and consistent.
“Our focus will continue to be on the guys we have here as we prepare for the regular season.”
Cornette believes the Jets’ hopes would be dashed if they were to compete without linebacker Reddick this season.
“Without Haason Reddick, they absolutely cannot win their division,” she said.

The 29-year-old recorded 11 sacks and 38 tackles in 17 games last season.
