Rep. Byron Donalds: All this fuss about Kamala Harris feels like a movie premiere, not a presidential campaign

Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to weigh in on the mainstream media’s glowing coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

“Basically, they stabbed Joe Biden in the back about 24 days ago. And since then, she’s been walking around like she’s an actress in Hollywood. Like she’s getting ready for the new blockbuster that’s coming out. That’s how the media covers her. When there are these summer blockbusters and then all the anticipation, all the coverage of it and so on, they show how people are excited. They want to see the new movie, and then the movie comes out and it’s Kevin Costner’s Waterworld. It’s a huge flop. That’s the way it is. This is the buildup to a movie career, a first, not a presidential campaign. And, you know, the most dishonest thing about the whole thing is that Kamala Harris is incredibly liberal. Very radical. But she’s not answering anyone’s questions. Look for the people who say democracy is at stake. You know, the most undemocratic thing is when someone runs for president of the United States, is protected by the party and the media, and people have no idea what they really want. That is a threat to democracy. That is what we are experiencing right now.”

Jimmy and Rep. Donalds also discuss former President Trump’s wide-ranging interview with billionaire Elon Musk. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
