Donald Trump is said to have turned to his teenage son Barron and his influential best friend Bo Loudon to overtake Vice President Kamala Harris in winning over Generation Z voters.

Since taking the top spot on the Democratic Party’s ticket last month, Harris, 59, has quickly won the favor of a young electorate.

Pop star Charli XCX, 31, declared that “Kamala is a brat” – a term the singer said she coined to describe someone who owns “a pack of cigarettes, a Bic lighter and a white tank top with no bra.”

Harris has also inspired numerous memes and fandoms through her K-Hive fanbase and, bizarrely, has become synonymous with coconuts thanks to a resurfaced 2023 clip that went viral on TikTok.

“Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” she asked. Politicians and supporters shared the meme, with some showing a coconut-on-X emoji next to their names.

So if “Kamala IS a brat,” then what is 78-year-old Trump?

The former president – who is now the oldest presidential candidate in history – has turned to Bo Loudon, the 17-year-old right-wing influencer and best friend of Trump’s youngest son, 18-year-old Barron, for help, according to The Daily Mail.

Barron and Bo are tasked with identifying influencers and content creators who could help Trump gain support among young voters.

“Trump values the boys and sees their contribution as an advantage,” a source told Daily Mail.

“He has no problem asking them for advice on an issue that many of his middle-aged campaign aides have no idea about.”

Barron and Bo are said to be behind Trump’s 90-minute interview with kick influencer Adin Ross last week, during which the former president was given a gold Rolex and a Tesla Cybertruck.

The bizarre stream reached 500,000 views at its peak – although Trump claimed without evidence that 100 million people had tuned in.

The teenage duo was also reportedly involved in organizing a so-called power banquet at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, which included PDB Podcast Moderator Patrick Bet-David and the right-wing influencer called Andrew Tate’s “obvious successor” Justin Waller.

“Bo contacted me and told me that Barron was watching my content and would like to invite me to dinner at Mar-a-Lago,” Waller said The email.

Loudon is the son of Dr. Gina Loudon – the conservative television pundit and former co-chair of Women for Trump in 2020 – and John Loudon – the former Missouri state senator. The family lives in South Florida and are frequent visitors to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Loudon’s involvement has not been officially confirmed. The Independent has contacted the Trump team for further information.

This comes against a backdrop of growing support for Harris among Generation Z – born between 1997 and 2012 – and Millennials – born between 1981 and 1996.

According to a new poll commissioned by the Democratic-affiliated organization Won’t PAC Down, the vice president is ahead of Trump (42 percent) among younger voters with 51 percent.

Harris’ support for Generation Z has now been branded “Kamalove,” a viral phrase first used by the left-leaning lobby group Voters of Tomorrow.

In the 2020 presidential election, Generation Z voters voted overwhelmingly for President Joe Biden over Trump, by a margin of 20 percentage points.

A more recent poll commissioned by CBS News in June – before the president abandoned his re-election campaign – found that voters under 30 supported Biden by a 23 percentage point lead over Trump.
